Sketch + Colors = 2 Challenges in 1 Card

**2nd post of the day... scroll down for more!**

I've been contemplating the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players for several days.  Once I saw the Celebrity Color Challenge over at Pals Paper Arts, I knew I had a combination winner!

Here's the card I came up with when I combined these two challenges...

Another card for the stash for my mother-in-law who is undergoing chemo treatments.  I hope these fun colors make her smile! :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a blessed afternoon!

Clean & Simple... Just For You!

**4th- AND FINAL- post for the day... scroll down for more!**

The Paper Players Challenge #56 was just that for me this week... a challenge!  I LOVE clean & simple designs... but for whatever reason, this sketch had me puzzled for a bit.  After lots of playing around with it... and an hour's worth of "The Closer"... here's what I came up with!

The sketch...

My card...

I love how it turned out!

Thanks for looking!  Have a blessed day!

CAS-ual & Colored

**3rd post of the day... I'm on a roll!**

I say I'm on a roll... but really I'm just making use of my baby's naptime the best I can!  :)

Here's a simple shape card I made for this week's CAS-ual Friday challenge.  I'm addicted to polka dots & circles, so I kept it clean & crisp with a circle pattern repeated... with the shapes, punches, and even paper that I used!

The details about the CAS-ual Friday Challenge CFC10 are found here

I'm also linking this up to this week's Paper Players Challenge-

Challenge #55-A Colour Challenge from Lesley.

I must admit that I am a frugal papercrafter.  My budget doesn't always allow for strictly SU products, so the colors/products I used in my card are as close to these colors as possible.  I used a crumb cake (kraft) base with poppy parade-ish colored circle patterned paper. (If you look closely, you can see that the paper also has circles on it... it's not plain!)  The ink on the lettierng is basic gray, along with one of the ribbons.  The other ribbon is baja breezish in color.

Comments?  I love them!

Have a wonderful day!
